Private tutor in New York, NY
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor - Bachelor of Science, Engineering, General , University of Michigan-Ann Arbor - Master of Arts, Accounting
As a tutor, I enjoy helping young students with all levels of mathematics. While growing up in New York City and studying in elementary, high school, and college, I also occasionally struggled with mathematics. However, I learned to overcome my difficulties and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Michigan. Today, I work in finance and enjoy the statistical side of sports and the mathematical beats in music. Mathematics can be difficult, but that doesn't mean students can't overcome their difficulties and find success. I can help struggling learners with a wide range of mathematical classes and concepts, including Elementary Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Calculus, and Differential Equations. I can also help with collegiate level courses like Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Finance, Accounting, and Statistics. I am also able to assist students with test preparation for the Regents, PSAT, SAT, SSAT, and SHSAT. Working with a tutor who understands both mathematical concepts and what it's like to struggle can make a big difference for young students, and I look forward to being a part of that process. In my free time, I play basketball, golf, snowboard, and listen to vocalists such as John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Fall Out Boy.
