I attended Rutgers University, where I earned my BS in Finance, and a minor in English. I love tutoring, and first had experience doing so when I was in high school. Then, the subjects I tutored in surrounded math and English topics, and I worked with students of all ages. Upon graduating from college, I went on to work in the financial services industry for about a decade. Through that work, I have become comfortable working with all different types of people, and I am able to understand and appreciate people of unique personalities. I've also learned to pay attention to what motivates different individuals. This is critical for my tutoring, because each student comes with their own set of strengths, challenges, and interests, as well as their own learning style. I adapt my methods to each child, which I believe helps them to be more successful than with just a one-size-fits-all method. Education truly is my passion, and I can tutor in a huge variety of subjects, from math to public speaking, from literature to basic study skills. I can also assist students as they prepare for standardized tests such as the PSAT and SAT, among others.
