Experience
I graduated from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, where I earned my BS in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics. I believe math plays a fundamental role in everyone's life. I have had experience as a teaching assistant and as a math tutor, and through these, I have obtained skills in team work and leadership. I have experience supervising students as they work on and complete their semester long design projects for required benchmarks and milestones, and found that very satisfying to go through the journey with them. I've tutored students in all types of math subjects, such as elementary and middle school math, algebra at all levels, and even advanced math subjects like calculus and differential equations. I've learned to be a team player, and that works well with tutoring. I don't just walk in as the master and all knowing teacher, but I relate to my students, and we work together to improve their skills. I even believe I provide a good tutoring environment, where we can work safely together with good communication, no matter what the student's background may be, and be successful. I also have good organizational and planning skills, which I share with the students I tutor.
