I have been tutoring off and on since 1994. I recently began tutoring again after returning to school. Next semester I will be pursuing a PhD in biophysics. I have tutored clients from elementary school to college. Previous positions I held before returning to school were Vice President of an engineering services company, and project engineer for a mechanical contractor. My research experience is in molecular dynamics simulations of membrane protein systems. I am currently a biochemistry major with a 3.85 in my major (3.72 overall). My previous degree was in philosophy with a minor in mathematics.

Hobbies
I like playing chess and jazz guitar. I am good at neither. I also write poetry occasionally as well as fiction. I am working on a novel. I have read Webster's Unabridged Dictionary cover to cover. Twice. What can I say? I'm a bit of a nerd.
