Studied and lived in China for 10 years and in Taipei, Taiwan for 2 years, relocating back to the US in Summer '14. Performed as an entertainer for 10 years in China as singer, actress, and bilingual show & concert host for television networks throughout China including CCTV, BTV and Phoenix Television. I am a published Mandarin language songwriter for artists in Taiwan & China. Performed as a voice character actress on over 20 CD’s for ESL learning programs in China. Extensive experience in teaching Spoken Mandarin, from basic beginner conversational to advanced. Specialized in teaching business people in Banking, Finance & Venture Capitalism areas. All levels welcome! Also available for short term intensive programs.

I am unique in that I understand how non-Chinese individuals learn Mandarin, and can make the learning experience interesting and effective because I appreciate how non-Chinese think and learn best. I have a wealth of personal experience in China, and can help students to appreciate the language as an adventure in Chinese culture.
