I love working with students of all ages and helping them master subjects that once seemed difficult. I am great at connecting with students of all ages and from all walks of life, helping them reach their highest potentials. I am experienced in tutoring and student teaching and am available for high school and college humanities and science coursework as well as test prep and college/graduate school application coaching. I also am available to assist law students or pre-law students considering application to law school. I currently am a Federal Law Clerk and am available in the evenings and weekends in and around New York City In high school, I not only graduated with distinction from the International School and received my IB Diploma but also took several AP courses as well. In college at Vassar I was a double major and took significant coursework in both the hard sciences and humanities courses, including geography, sociology, religion and anthropology. During my time in college I worked with a local high school several times a week one-on-one with students tutoring in test preparation and science and humanities courses, up to and including AP level. I also tutored several students who were struggling with learning difficulties and explained specific points to them, practiced with them and trained them throughout the process on an individual basis although I have no formal training in this field. I have knowledge of the SAT and LSAT as I took both as part of my college and law school application process. Furthermore, I followed the SAT/LSAT prep tests online but also took personalized courses to prepare further for the exams. I am also very experienced in assisting students with writing and performing editing function on papers. I have found it very useful with students I have worked with in the past to allow a third party to edit any essays or papers prior to submission and am more than happy to assist in the editing process.
