Experience

While attending the University of Michigan, I was a peer tutor at the Sweetland Center for Writing. I took two courses where I learned a variety of strategies for working with students on their writing. At Sweetland, I helped students with all types of writing, from research papers to persuasive essays. My goal as a tutor is to help the student improve as a writer and gain confidence in their writing. I have worked as a writer professionally, and writing is truly my passion. I hope to share my enthusiasm with students who struggle with writing.
