I went to Stanford University where I graduated with a degree in Symbolic Systems. Prior to college, I went to Phillips Academy in Massachusetts and public school in Connecticut. I went to Japan for a year to teach English and French as a Stanford volunteer, and then on to a rewarding career in broadcast journalism on public radio. I worked at networks in France and Germany, then as the host of their All Things Considered program in Connecticut and New York. I spent 7 years as a reporter, where I became so impressed by the work of the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders that I decided to pursue studies in biomedical science at the University of Paris and Columbia University in New York.I recently received a merit scholarship to attend medical school at Policlinico Gemelli in Rome, after achieving the top score on their entrance exam for international students. During the past 2 years, I have also been involved in biomedical research at Columbia. I am available to tutor different subjects, including Reading, Writing, Literature, Algebra, Geometry, Computer Science, and prep for standardized testing. In my spare time, I like cooking, playing piano, and volunteering.
