I love to work with students in the subject of writing and composition. Not only is it my favorite, but I truly believe that everyone has a story to tell, and I wish to help them express themselves through the written word. I believe in offering my students lots of encouragement, all the while staying on top of our assignments. I have taught software classes for the Motion Picture Editor's Guild. I also have experience teaching Creative Writing to my classmates. I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-4, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, College Essays, Arithmetic, IB Philosophy HL and SL, Public Speaking, Social Sciences, Philosophy, Math, English, and SAT Math, Verbal, Critical Reading, and Writing.I graduated from Cornell University, where I earned a B.A. in Film and Philosophy.In my spare time, I love all things related to music, and was active in my school's marching band, where I played the alto sax. I was also a DJ at WVBR. Currently, I am involved in Motion Pictures and Theater in New York.
