Experience
Experiences I have worked as a "Tutor" at Kingsborough College, Pace University and New York University as an "assistant" to professor in the English Department. I have handled large classes as well as small groups of foreign students who were having difficulty with English(most often I taught a remedial English course). Additionally I helped many students understand Classic Literature (American and British), its symbolism and metaphors; resulting in their completing their assignments, most often college essays and critics of the piece of literature. I have taught English as Second/Foreign Language in Greece for 8 years. I worked at a private language school, and worked with students from the beginning level through the ECPE/CPE (Michigan and Cambridge Tests of Proficiency in English). The age range of the students was from 10 years up to 50+. I have taught beginning English for Adults, as well as Business English for College Students. I speak Greek, Spanish, Italian, some Portuguese and Turkish.
