I know the value of having a strong tutor or advisor. When I was in school, Joyce Carol Oates chose me as an advisee. Her mentorship was a deciding factor in my success. I now hope to guide my students to successes of their own. I graduated from Princeton University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature with minors in Theater and Creative Writing. I also won Princeton's Theater Award and its Creative Writing Award.I believe that education has the amazing potential to improve lives for the better. It is this belief that has made me passionate about tutoring others, whether children in elementary or students at the high school level. I'm able to help students in reading, writing, editing, phonics, literature, public speaking, and grammar and mechanics. I'm also happy to work with students in IB Theatre SL and HL classes, and can help students preparing for the ACT, ACCUPLACER, COMPASS, PSAT, and SAT.Following my successes as a student, I have been pursuing a career in writing or directing for the theater. Other interests of mine include photography, watching films, traveling, and reading.
