Experience
I have a master's degree in Philosophy from Columbia University in New York City. Currently, I am making plans to pursue a doctorate in Philosophy. My academic background has given me the exposure and practice in reading strategies and critical thinking that can be applied to a wide range of content. Another advantage of degree work is the rigor around analytical writing related to producing papers that are organized, clear, and persuasive. I get genuinely excited when I play a role in helping a student create their concepts and inject their personality into the sentences and paragraphs. Although writing has been where most of my tutoring has taken place, I also have passion for other subjects like Psychology and History. And, of course, I love to tutor Philosophy. Other subjects that I can tutor are Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, and European History. I can also help students who are prepping for standardized tests such as the PSAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT, and GMAT. Being a graduate student who is working to establish a teaching career, I am committed to help students reach whatever goals they set. From a personal perspective, I like to listen to and play music, watch films, and cook.
