I attended Queens College, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in business. While in college, I spent most of my time on the Dean's List. Furthermore, I received an Honors in the Humanities scholarship.I am currently working at City University of New York, in Queens, at the writing center as an English tutor. My experiences include teaching English as a second language and working with mentally challenged students. In addition, I spent five months as a volunteer tutor for a nonprofit organization, where I helped young learners better their reading and writing skills. For the past three years, I have also worked as a private tutor for middle school, high school, and university students, where I specialized in essay writing, English grammar, literature, reading, and critical writing.In my spare time, I like writing poetry and posting in my blog. I also enjoy watching movies and reading fantasy novels.
