I have experience tutoring high school through college level science including Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Chemistry. I have worked with students on these subjects privately as well as through the student services at Mercy College. I find that students not strong in the sciences tend to try to memorize as much as they can. My approach to tutoring involves working with students to find how they best retain material in a way that promotes comprehension rather than memorization. This approach is the most effective and versatile and the skills my students take away from these sessions can be applied to all subject areas.

Hobbies
My main interests are music and science. I enjoy playing the piano as well as seeing as many live music shows as I can fit into my schedule. I have a strong passion for anything science but especially Biology and human anatomy. I find that passing on my curiosity and love of science to my students is one of the most rewarding activities I have participated in and reaffirms my own interest.
