Experience
After earning my Bachelor of Science degree in economics and statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, I took on a consulting role. With this position, I offer guidance to clients, using my background in economic theory and statistics to help them achieve their goals. Besides consulting, I'd like to share my enthusiasm for these subjects with students. It's commonplace for some individuals to be intimidated by statistics and math because they don't see the immediate applications and rewards. When they don't receive instant gratification from the experience, students may feel let down and become disinterested. It's my goal to foster a fun learning environment and to show how the information they absorb in the classroom can be incorporated into their day-to-day routines. It's important to show the practicality and value of what they learn and how it affects things they're interested in, such as the news, sports, or TV programs. As far as subjects are concerned, I'm adept at teaching: pre-algebra, pre-calculus, statistics, algebra, arithmetic, geometry, economics, statistics, test prep, essay editing, reading, public speaking, English, Russian, and more.Outside studying and the classroom, I particularly enjoy trying new and interesting dishes in New York City, traveling, and keeping up with the news of the day from around the globe.
