Experience
I believe that speaking English in an effective way provides endless opportunities. I have experience as an English substitute teacher in America and an ESL teacher to elementary school kids in South Korea, where I lived for about 18 months. When I was in South Korea, I also spent my spare time tutoring students to speak English in a conversational manner.Right now, I am working on a master's degree in Teaching Adolescent English Education at Pace University in New York. My undergraduate work was done at Stonehill College where I earned a bachelor's degree in English and Communication Studies in 2009.I have a number of English certifications, but writing, English literature, and ESL topics are my favorites. I very much enjoying teaching ESL because in my opinion, the world is getting smaller and it is admirable and vital to be able to speak more than one language in society today. I have a Massachusetts English teaching license for students in grades 5-12 and a certification in TESOL/TEFL as well.When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I practice yoga, run, and travel. I very much enjoy writing myself and I am an avid reader. I am also starting to learn guitar.
