I have taken several courses in the field of biology, including: -genetics -biochemistry -biotechnology -neuroscience -evolutionary biology I have a great amount of tutoring experience in high school biology and in the past, I have boosted C averages up to an A. From personal experience, I've realized that learning becomes much easier when you can relate a subject to something familiar. This is why I like to use analogies when teaching an important concept to help the student learn and remember. I also like to spend time training students on smart test-taking skills, since oftentimes, that seems to be an issue even when students understand the material.
