I graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in political science and a J.D. in law. I am also TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certified. I have been tutoring since high school and have experience working with students of different ages and education levels. I specialize in English language tutoring and especially enjoy helping students improve their reading and writing skills. In addition to learning grammar and vocabulary, I believe it is equally important to work together with students to promote analytical thinking and creativity. My goal is to help each student express themselves effectively and eloquently. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to travel to any student's home or other location if that would be more convenient. Each tutoring session is tailored to meet the student's specific requirements -- anything from help with homework and essay writing, SAT I or SAT II preparation, improving speaking for students learning English as a second language, etc. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
