I have tutored for about 2 years in total for grades K-8 English, Math, and Science. I genuinely love to tutor because the satisfaction of a person understanding material after I've taught it (while not having fully understood it before) beats no other. I take several different approaches when tutoring because when one method doesn't work, another one is bound to. Everyone has a different learning style. I take pride in my organization skills as well because that's an imperative aspect to being a good tutor. I will be monitoring your/your child's progress from the first tutoring session. My composite score in the critical reading and math sections on the SAT was a 1300. I've taken various writing intensive, science, and math courses since matriculating into Hunter.

Hobbies

I love to write poetry and am currently working on a novel. I also love to read! Visiting art galleries is one of my most recent hobbies. Artists have so many different styles that aren't portrayed in big museums often; small commercial galleries portray everything. I'm also full of wanderlust as I love to travel. I believe that one has to see the world in order to fully understand it.
