Having lived in various places around the world, I am comfortable interacting with the melting pot of students that come my way via tutoring. I hail from India, but grew up in Japan, and now I live in New York. I had the pleasure of working with autistic children and those with behavioral disorders while I was in college at Houston Baptist University. There, I majored in Biology and Psychology. Afterward, I attended med school. My specialties, as an instructor, are mathematics and science. Right now, I am back in college, going after a master's degree in Health Care Administration.Due to the experiences I've had, I have developed saint-like patience and a diligent spirit. I know that some students aren't going to understand a concept right away, so lessons may have to be repeated or taught in a direct manner. My overall goal is to have learners be able to teach material back to me once all is said and done. This helps them to really get a firm grasp on what they've learned. I am a seasoned test-taker. I've been through more than one medical exam, so if there is any person qualified to help your child raise test scores, it is me.
