Experience

For the past 2 years, I have tutored a variety of students in all levels of German, ranging from complete beginners to fluent speakers. My students come from various different countries; their mother tongues include Arabic, Spanish, Hebrew, French, and English which means I am trained and equipped to adapt to the specific requirements and language background of individual students. Recently, I have focused on helping aspirants to the US Foreign Service to prepare for their language exams prior to them going on their diplomatic mission to Germany. That is, I not only helped my students in improving their spoken and written German but also trained them in conversing and discussing German and European affairs, holding interviews and presentations. I am a native German, born and raised in Frankfurt. I studied in various different countries (Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, and Israel), thus, have always enjoyed learning new languages, cultures, and lifestyles, which is why I very much enjoy teaching my own language to people interested, while alongside getting to know people of various different backgrounds. For the past 8 years, I have been working in corporate communications for a major German insurance company. Communications, Language, expression therefore is my thing :) I have recently moved to New York City and am looking forward to tutor a bunch of new students, either in person or via Skype.
