I'm a recent Honors graduate from NYU. I earned a BA in Anthropology, with a minor in chemistry. My liberal arts education provided me with a wide range of academic experiences, and I'm qualified to tutor students of any age on just about any subject they may be struggling with or want some extra help with. I've been tutoring other students since middle school, and have done so continuously. Over the years, I have worked with students at all ages and levels of ability. For the past two years, my main focus has been tutoring students with ADHD and other learning disabilities. My approach is geared around working with the student to identify their unique learning challenges or struggles, and re-frame them as "hurdles" that are surmountable through measurable achievements. This method of breaking challenges into bite-sized chunks has been highly effective, I have found. I have always been a passionate student, with a deep love for learning, and believe education is the gateway to opportunities. I value being part of a student's path to a successful future. In my free time I love to travel and explore, and am lucky to live in a city like New York, where you can always find something new. I look forward to working with you!
