I've always believed each student can be their own success story. With individualized education, I have learned the capacity for student success is immense. I enjoy individual tutoring sessions because they allow me to focus entirely on each student.Throughout my tutoring career I have helped students in college all the way down to second grade. My specialties are math and history. Some of the specific courses I tutor include Algebra 1, elementary math, geometry, middle school math, statistics, American history and government, economics, business, finance, and world history. Test preparation is another area I am drawn to as a tutor. Test taking strategies are an important part of this type of tutoring process as well as reviewing the test information. Standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and high school regents exams are a few of the tests I can help students prepare for. My personal educational background was focused around math and finance. I earned BA in Mathematics and Finance from NYU and am currently working on an MBA in Finance from the same university. Additionally, I completed all levels of the Chartered Financial Analysts Program.When I'm not working with students I enjoy reading, traveling, and option trading.
