I love to work with young people, and have a positive influence over their lives and futures. It is my hope that my students come away from our sessions with a better appreciation for what we are studying. I hope they will not only get passing grades, but also take a position as an active learner, inside and outside of the classroom.I have been a teacher for four years, and worked as a tutor for five. I truly enjoy the subject of Math, and feel like it is an integral part in explaining how our world works. I like to use real-world applications so my students can gain a better understanding of the subject.I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-2, Arithmetic, Geometry, Middle School Math, Precalculus, Regents, and test prep, including SHSAT.I am a graduate of CUNY, York College, and St. John's University. When I'm not working with students, I love to coach basketball, and write screenplays.
