I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching Math and Science. I am currently a senior at the City College of New York. I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. During my time in college, I have tutored students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have over eight years of tutoring experience. I am also comfortable teaching a variety of math related subjects, including Arithmetic, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry at an elementary through collegiate level. I am most passionate about teaching Physics because many students struggle with it. This provides me with a challenge because it allows me to attempt to make a complex subject seem simple. After Physics, my favorite subjects are Math, Chemistry, and Biology because these are subjects that I utilize every day in the Cardiovascular Research Lab. My philosophy as a tutor is to use humor, illustrations, and relevant examples to help make learning both easier and entertaining. I have a talent for connecting with my students because I understand what it's like to be a student. I understand exactly what my students are going through, which makes it easier to help them through their struggles. In my free time, I enjoy watching television, working out, swimming, karaoke, and trying different restaurants.
