Experience
I attended Cooper Union, where I acquired my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. I have worked with students from all walks of life and with many different skill levels. I have worked closely with students who were over achievers who simply thrived on learning. I also have worked with students who were stressing and struggling in their studies. I truly enjoy math and science, particularly anything involving computer science and electrical engineering. Specifically, I have experience tutoring algebra 1-3/4, calculus 1-3, geometry, middle school math, statistics, multivariable calculus, and SAT math.As for my teaching philosophy, I believe in instructing by example. I try to illustrate the problem to my students. From there, I assist my students in figuring out the many ways to solve the particular problem. Lastly, I guide them to solving the problem. When I am not teaching, I can be found practicing martial arts. I haven't had much time to pursue my love for martial arts lately. However, once my schedule frees up a bit, I will get back into it. I also love to ski. I currently reside in New York , New York.
