Experience
I'm a graduate student at Columbia University. I studied for my bachelor's degree in arts history at Yale, and then taught as a part of Teach for America as a second and third grade teacher. During this time, I also earned a master's degree in education from Southern Connecticut State University. Besides my classroom teaching experience, I also have tutored students in preparation for the SAT, physics, and calculus. I'm comfortable helping students learn everything from general elementary school topics to math, Spanish, and science. I believe every student has the potential to succeed, and I will work alongside the student, parents, teachers, and other agents to help that happen. I was on the basketball team in college, and I still enjoy playing and watching sports to this day. Other interests include skiing, running, knitting, and reading.
