Experience

I have worked as a Special Education teacher, and taught classes of students from 2nd-5th grade for eleven years. I truly love working with my students, and look forward to meeting new ones as well! I love to teach students Reading and Writing, and work with them in ELA.I offer tutoring in ESL/ELL, Reading, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, Elementary Math, Math, World History, Social Studies, Special Education, Math, Science, Essay Editing, Writing, ISEE Lower Level, SSAT Elementary Level, and Regents. I am a graduate of St. John's University, where I earned my master's degree in Special and General Education. In addition, I graduated from Queens College, where I hold a master's degree in Literacy for Grades 5-9. In my free time, I love being active and hiking, as well as playing the piano.
