Education

Brandeis University - BA, Biology

Experience

I recently graduated from Brandeis University, where I earned a certificate to teach elementary school. I also studied biology and theater arts; I feel that my numerous interests have provided me unique experiences that I am able to incorporate into my tutoring. I am able to teach with a great deal of diversity and creativity, and keep my students engaged. I have been tutoring for four years now, and have discovered that learning is a passion, and I try to pass that on to my students. I am able to tutor courses in elementary and middle school mathematics, algebra 1, reading, phonics, and biology. I also help students learn study skills, tutor during the summer, and can prepare them for AP biology, the ISEE lower and middle level, and the SSAT elementary and middle level. I  like to participate in triathlons, and snowboard or ski with family. I also enjoy acting, arts and crafts, or reading in my spare time.
