I attended Old Dominion University, and I have always loved learning and sharing what I learned with others. This may have been due to having a teacher as a mother who always encouraged me to learn. When I was young, you could often find me writing and reading for fun. I began helping others learn at a very young age when I helped my brother learn to read when I was in elementary school. Throughout my educational career, I always helped my classmates and friends by tutoring them in their school subjects. When I work with students now, I strive to help them further their understanding of the subject they are studying and help them find new ways to approach problems they face. I can tutor math courses ranging from elementary math to pre-calculus. I also tutor writing, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, microeconomics, economics, accounting, business, and English courses. I am willing to work with ESL students as well as native English speakers. When not tutoring, I love art, and one of my favorite pastimes is visiting museums. I also enjoy cooking great meals and practicing yoga.
