Experience
Helping students achieve their personal goals and move toward success has always been most fulfilling for me. Having graduated from Vanderbilt University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Neuroscience and Spanish, I've definitely seen that hard work can truly pay off. I know there are a ton of students out there, whether or not they just need a bit of extra guidance or a lot of help understanding a topic, who are willing to put in that extra effort to reach success. I love being a person who these people can come to, because with a successful educational career and experience in helping students learn and absorb material, I can help them (and you!) reach their goals! As a science major at Vanderbilt, I experienced success in classes such a general biology and chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, psychology, and sociology. As a Spanish major, I have become nearly fluent in the language, as well as very familiar with literature spanning from the 17th century to the present. Having gained success in these subjects, I frequently volunteered at Vanderbilt to tutor students having difficulty understanding the material. As a teacher for Kaplan test prep, I am also a master in tutoring and teaching for the DAT dental school exam, the MCAT, as well as the ACT. My time with Kaplan has given me the tools necessary to help you better understand and absorb material, so I am confident I can help you on your road to success!
