I encourage my students while being both realistic and honest. I enjoy helping students prepare for college entrance exams and write admissions essays. I am open to the learning style and plan of action that best suits each student, and I enjoy helping students address their struggles through discovering and applying their own strengths and abilities. I am committed to seeing my students through their preparation with attention and integrity. I am available to tutor students in a number of subject areas including LSAT preparation, essay editing, study skills and organization, graduate test preparation, and public speaking.I completed my undergraduate work at Stanford University in California, where I studied public policy. I now attend Columbia Law School in New York City, where I sit on several boards: the LGBTQ students group, the Student Public Interest Network, and the animal law group. I spent a summer in Kampala, Uganda with a team of lawyers working to repeal that country's Anti-Homosexuality Act as well as working on other human rights issues. I have years of experience in tutoring, teaching, and editing. Outside of academics, my interests include ballroom dance, vegan cooking, skiing, musical theatre, participating in LGBT advocacy, and raising guide dogs.
