I love tutoring and helping students to realize their long and short term goals, and to also do the best they can not just in school, but also to work up to their full potential in their day to day lives. With each student's session I create an individual plan that suits their own needs, so no session is the same for each pupil. Working with middle school and high school kids, and into adulthood are the areas I enjoy the most. I have 5 plus years of tutoring under my belt and have taught Reading, English, and Humanities at either high school or college level. While I was living in China, I helped Chinese speaking students who were getting ready to take the SAT and TOEFL exams. I have also tutored students who are either getting ready to head off to college, or thinking of writing up an essay for a scholarship to attend college as well. Most recently, I am working towards my graduate degree in education policy. When I have down time, I like to paint, go to the movie theater and catch a flick, and I also have a nose for the news and like to keep up with what's going on in the world.
