I currently reside in New York, New York and have acquired degrees from the University of Georgia and Southern Methodist University. I am dedicated and passionate about the subjects of mathematics and science. As a youngster, I attended a fine arts school where I was taught to maintain a healthy balance of both my academics and my love for the arts. As for my tutoring style, I believe that each student is an individual. No two students are alike. Because of this, I tailor lesson plans on an individual basis. I expect my students to inform me of their strengths and weaknesses. This allows me to come up with lessons that help them strengthen their weak areas.I hold myself accountable. However, I also hold my students accountable. I do have expectations. I want to see my students excel and move forward with their progress. While tutoring is serious, it should also be fun. I try to incorporate creativity in my lessons. This keeps my students interested. I am currently offering my services in the subjects of algebra 1, calculus 1, geometry, elementary math, statistics, algebra 2, chemistry, arithmetic, earth science, science, life sciences, reading, English, writing, and mathematics. When I am not tutoring, I can be found practicing my acting and theater skills.
