My passion in life is helping other people. I have a bachelor's degree in Conflict Resolution from CUNY in New York, and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College, where I focused on how employees are affected by corporate social responsibility. I developed strong reading and writing skills in my studies, and used them to help fellow students. After college, I served in the Army Reserve.My work experience is in nonprofits. In my different social service positions, I have worked with various groups of disadvantaged people, including mentally ill, homeless, and disabled individuals, at-risk adolescents, and others. I have been an advocate and lobbyist for these populations. My desire to inspire others goes back to my high school years, when I developed leadership skills in two different nonprofit organizations. In college, I continued to develop as a leader in community advocacy and improving education through the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority.My academic background makes me well qualified for tutoring reading, writing, study skills, and public speaking. My life experience has taught me how best to help people with many different needs, and this is what I love.I also enjoy traveling. My hobbies are reading and fiber arts (especially crochet).
