I am from Forest Hills, New York and have eight years of tutoring experience with students at different grade levels, ranging from middle school to college. My expertise includes working with children who participate in the No Child Left Behind program in New York City and preparing students for taking a variety of national tests, such as different types of Regent examinations, the ISEE, ACT math, and the SSHAT. Additionally, I also can confidently tutor other subjects, such as English, Algebra 1 and 2, trigonometry, accounting, and middle school math. When I initially start working with students, my strategy is to give diagnostic tests to evaluate and identify any weak areas in which students need improvement. I can then address the issue, helping them improve academically. I received my MBA degree from Pace University in New York and also hold a CPA license. My work experience, which spans 20 years, includes holding positions as a comptroller for a major firm, senior manager in the financial sector, and a personal trainer. As a trainer, I believe that the mind and body are thoroughly in synergy. In my spare time, I have a passion for the arts, music, traveling, reading, and visiting museums. I am also a very proud parent of twin girls who are due to graduate shortly from an Ivy League institution.
