Davidson College - BA, English

I currently teach second shift at the middle school level. I graduated from Davidson College with my bachelor's degree in English. I also concentrated in education. My teaching experience include my current role, and time as a teacher's aide for a high school level English class. As an aid, I had the opportunity to work with students individually on their English skills. I love helping students learn English, but I also enjoy helping students with standardized test preparation and math. I understand how important it is to help students fully understand topics as opposed to memorizing them, because understanding give students the ability to apply their knowledge on new challenges. When I have free time, I like to read, watch movies, listen to music, watch sports, and spend time with family and friends.
