I am a graduate of SUNY College in Cortland. I hold degrees in both International Studies and Adolescent Spanish Education. I possess a teaching certificate in Adolescent Spanish Education from the state of New York. I am now attending CUNY Hunter College as a graduate student, where I am learning about Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.I tutor Spanish 1, 2, 3 and 4 and Study Skills and Organization. I enjoy when I teach and learn about new languages and cultures. As a college student, I was able to travel and be an intern for the office of International Programs. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain and Costa Rica, where I was able to increase my Spanish skills and improve my speaking abilities. It is my belief that acquiring new languages should be entertaining for my students. Students should have the opportunity to express their creativity in an environment where they are comfortable when they are acquiring their new language skills. In my spare time, I like to read in Spanish (in addition to English), visit museums, play tennis, run, travel, and walking around the city. I currently reside in New York, New York.
