Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in Dance and Psychology from New York University. Upon graduation, I spent time with a modern dance company, touring internationally. I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and abilities, and have been tutoring students throughout my time in school. I'm able to tutor a wide variety of subjects, including algebra, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, anatomy, biology, reading, writing, psychology, and dance, among many others. I am also able to tutor students who are preparing for tests like the ACT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, SSAT, and SHSAT. Assisting students in improving their test-taking skills is greatly rewarding, as seeing their scores increase as our sessions progress helps students by giving them tangible evidence that their work is paying off! I always take the time to get to know my students, and by finding out about their preferred learning style, I'm able to customize my tutoring approach to fit their needs. As a tutor, I am creative, empathetic, and enthusiastic. I have a true passion for education, and I love helping my students meet their academic goals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and taking in a good film.
