Experience
Since I started reading and writing, I have had a passion for all things literature. This passion makes it incredibly easy and fun for me to teach writing to any student who is willing to learn. I have a vast range of teaching experience. My experience ranges from tutoring younger students who want to become better writers to college students who want to get a handle on how to write a good essay or, eventually, get published. More specifically, I teach classes at a college called Ramapo. I also have experience helping students with their English in private, SAT preparation, high school, and ESL settings. In addition to passing on the gift of writing, I also do a great deal of writing myself. I have written several fiction books, including the Consummation of Dirk. I dabble in nonfiction as well. I have written essays on famous public figures, like LeBron James. Much of my work has received recognition in the form of awards, such as an innovative fiction award from Starcherone-Dzanc as well as the Indiefab Book Award from Foreword Review. I earned my master's in writing fiction at Sarah Lawrence College, and still strive to learn something new every day.
