I currently live in New York, New York, where I attended Beloit College. I graduated in 2013, with my bachelor's degree in Health & Society and Theater Arts. During my studies, I traveled to Costa Rica and Argentina. After I graduated from college, I had the opportunity to travel to Switzerland, where I lived for several months. During this time, I tutored students in ESL. I also worked as a college teaching assistant, while honing my French and German speaking skills.I have a real passion for learning and teaching. I love to encourage students to become engaged and excited about their subjects no matter how easy or difficult they may be. I believe that this helps to make learning fun and easy. I also believe that being flexible is one of the best attributes a tutor should possess. Being flexible is what enhances my ability to identify the learning style of my students, so I can better determine the approach that works best for them. I can tutor in a wide variety of subjects, including French, German, Reading, Writing, Literature, Spanish, Public Speaking, and ESL.In my spare time, I enjoy acting, theater, yoga, acrobatics, traveling, and reading.
