I'm currently attending St. John's University for my master's degree in childhood education. I love working with students and helping them learn new things. I have a wide variety of experience as an educator, including tutoring within the public school system and privately, working as a dance instructor, and working as a counselor at an arts and dance camp. I'm comfortable tutoring students in any subject at the elementary or middle school level. I can also help students at the high school level with history, science, and math. I focus on creating a comfortable environment for students that is reward based and built on trust. I provide my students whatever resources they need so that they can look at concepts in different ways to gain a better overall understanding. I will leverage activities, technology, individualized attention, and whatever else works for the student. I think the one-on-one approach of tutoring is very effective, and I'm looking forward to helping students achieve success.
