I am a tenured DOE high school teacher for NYC. I possess a certification that allows me to tutor high school History and Economics. I can also teach Special Education (generalist grades 7-12), gifted, and talented students. I also have proven success helping reduce literacy gaps, and I have a solid understanding of the needs of students with incapacities. I can also assist students who face difficulties reading, writing, and spelling. I am qualified to use an effective, multi-sensory technique to help them learn. This technique can help students with learning challenges linked to dyslexia.I have a lot of know-how teaching students to prepare for a number of standardized tests. I have created immense rapport with trustees and those I tutor. I also have a calm and courteous disposition. I can tutor Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Reading, and Social Studies.
