Experience
I have experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant for many courses. I also specialize in one-on-one tutoring in introductory Biochemistry. I passed the MCAT exam with a 38 (99.1 percent). After passing the exam, I started helping students develop their test preparation strategies. I like to help my students incorporate the topics they are learning across the different disciplines until it makes sense for them. Once they build from a strong foundation, they can then develop effective academic strategies until they succeed. Although testing students is one good way to measure their abilities, I believe in going above just test preparations and teaching them the subjects. During my time at Cornell University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science, I applied my life science research to the studying of health and social studies. Although I studied these subjects, my favorite subject to tutor is Biochemistry. Other subjects I am interested in tutoring include Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, Nutrition, Life Sciences, MCAT prep, MCAT Biological Life Sciences, MCAT Physical Sciences, MCAT Social and Behavioral Sciences, MCAT Verbal Reasoning, Science, and Graduate Test Prep. When I am not tutoring my students, I enjoy staying at home and cooking different meals, weight lifting, and going out dancing. I also like to play games and I have an interest in wine and nutrition.
