Experience
I studied at George Mason University where I received a degree in Economics. Prior to that, I attended Emory and Henry College where I received my degree in the field of Political Science. I also attended Peking University in China where I learned the language of the Chinese people and their history. I have tutoring expertise for a variety of ages and have taught a variety of different interesting and challenging subjects. My experience ranges from teaching ESL to paper editing. My main passion is teaching Social Studies. I am intrigued by how society functions on a government, economic, and historical level. In tutoring students, I believe that the most relevant aspect is assisting my students overcome their fears of not being correct. Every question and problem does not need to be solved immediately. This is where I come in and assist students in working out their blunders without becoming deterred. My dream for the future is to become a teacher on a full time basis. This is something I am motivated to accomplish. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy playing b-ball. When I am not shooting hoops on the court, I can be found with my nose in a great read.
