Experience
I recently graduated from Brown University in 2012 with a GPA of 3.7 and received degrees in both Theatre Arts and English Literature. The passion for educating has been inside me for a long time and began when I was a teacher's aid and a camp counselor for many years. Through college, this passion for education and teaching was still an extremely important factor in my life. The most demanding and exhaustive of all of my tutoring experience came during my time at Brown, when I was employed as a Brown Writing Fellow (a group of students who help with editing and writing for students at Brown). I believe that the best tutoring comes when there is a strong student-tutor bond and a trust between each individual to get the job done. I currently work at Write Bloody as a copy editor. I have received a number of scholarships throughout my studies, including the Bradford Cooke Sommer Humanitarian Scholarship in 2007. When I'm not working or helping others learn, I love to partake in some of my favorite hobbies, including travel writing and photography. Also, while enrolled at Brown, I sang and performed with an a cappella group that specialized in jazz.
