I attended the University of California - Los Angeles for my bachelor's degrees in physiological science and biophysics. I then went on to Columbia University, where I earned my masters degree in medical physics. Currently I'm a resident at Columbia for radiological physics. I have several years of experience tutoring science and math for all levels prior to college. My experience includes working directly with individuals, and with small groups. When I work with students, I do not lecture. Instead I utilize a collaborative approach where I work through problems alongside students. Instead of giving away answers, I help students understand the problem-solving process, and I explain each concept utilized at every step. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I've climbed mountains, and I've traveled through South America. I also enjoy long boarding and other activities.
