Education

University of California, Irvine - BS, Mathematics , New York University - MS, Mathematics

Experience

I'm an experienced tutor who enjoys helping students achieve their goals. I use the knowledge I've gained throughout my academic experience, combined with explanations that relate concepts we discuss with applications of them in the real world, my experience working with younger students, and an individualized approach to present productive and enjoyable sessions. I'm comfortable working with students of any age and ability and everything from beginning math through calculus, along with standardized test prep. Many of my students have been successful, and one student had a 150 point increase in their test score. I attended UC - Irvine for my bachelor's degree in math, and New York University Courant Institute for my master's degree in math. Currently I am working as a computer science researcher and I had three years working as an actuary prior to that. I am looking forward to working with new students.
