Hi, my name is Melanie, a recent graduate from Barnard College. I have my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I love Psychology, but I took some other fun courses as well. While I was in college, I was extremely busy helping others. I worked as an anonymous call taker for the college's crisis line. I also interned at The Door, where I interviewed young people and put them in contact with the services that caught their interest. I was part of a research study on PTSD and part of a group that taught conflict resolution to youth in New York. My next adventure is earning my master's in social work.I am available to help in numerous subjects, and I enjoy working with youth of all ages. My goal is to use my degree in social work to better the lives of young people in whatever way I can. I have a lot of experience working with children, from babysitting to working as a substitute and Teaching Assistant. I look forward to helping your child get the education they need. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, running, crafting, baking, and hanging out with friends and family.
