Hi, my name is Beau. I strive to teach my students the essential connection between what they are studying now, and what they have studied in the past. I have mostly tutored in SAT and ACT prep but have also taught in Math, Science, and English Composition. I would love to pass on my appreciation for great literature and English to each of my clients. I began tutoring in my senior year of high school, running my own test prep tutoring service for sophomore and junior students. I believe my passion for education and helping others makes me an excellent tutor. I look forward to sharing my passion for learning with my future students. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on fluid mechanics and energy conversion. I am a Midshipman in the Navy ROTC program at the college, and I would love to become a Submarine Officer in the Pacific. I also participate in the Yale Glee Club, the soccer team, and the Freshmen Outdoor Orientation Trip. When I am not teaching or studying, I enjoy running, playing the piano, and reading.
